Nepal FM Outlines Foreign Policy Priorities in New Delhi

Nepal’s Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal addressed a gathering of prominent personalities at an event organized by the India Foundation in New Delhi on Friday.
During the programme, Khanal outlined Nepal’s foreign policy priorities and interacted with participants on issues including energy, trade, infrastructure, regional connectivity, technology and tourism.
The Foreign Minister at the gathering said Nepal’s foreign policy is guided by the aspirations of the Nepali people for national transformation and economic growth.
Khanal reached India on Thursday on an official visit at the invitation of India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.
During the visit, he is scheduled to hold talks with his Indian counterpart on strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, connectivity, energy and people-to-people exchanges.
